the super mega extra long tons of pictures catch up nearly a year in one sitting post

life it too busy. technology is too abundant. time seems to be of the essence. nothing has changed though, just us. just how we do things. how we manage our time. days are still 24 hours long. but boy does time get away from us. uploading 80 some pictures, most seem to be from summer, we love summer. summer is the pursley family's favorite time. we are never home. well, rarely. we are on the lake many nights a week. we are swimming at the gym when we aren't at the lake or having friends over to ride bikes and 4-wheelers for hours on end. or playing out back on the trampoline with the sprinkler underneath. we love our summers. our kids turn white blonde. they are about 20 shades darker complected by august and they are happy inside and out. not that we don't love the rest of the time but boy do we love summer. this summer courtney rocked the wakeboard. she went from barely being able to go a hundred yards to jumping one side of the wake. she entered her first wakeboard competition and was confident. it was awesome and such a proud moment as a mom. austin mastered his trainer ski. his favorite thing to do is jump off "because i got hot" but by the end of the summer he was cutting back and forth and getting outside the wake. he even tried wake boarding a couple of times, to his demise but he tried. we hit the wakeboard park outside of KC one day on our way home; which again, courtney rocked...it took me a couple tries then i also rocked it. austin even tried there on the little kid area; again to his demise. we spent tons of time with the allen family; our fellow lake goers. and the sanders; our neighbors with similar age kids and pretty rockin' parents. hatcher was born at the end of summer and the kids were over joyed; you would have thought he belonged to us. we got the kids a tent; which with who their mommy is means the camped inside a few times. we spent 4th of july on the lake; i think that will become a yearly tradition as it was fun and the lights were amazing and the emotional power of hundreds of boats on the lake to celebrate the country we live in was pretty awesome. we spent some time with kim and todd on the lake; floating with preggo kim and capturing todd wake boarding one footed with a life jacket diaper on film. good times. we wen't bowling, austin learned how to swim. really how to swim; breathing and all. which by now he has completely forgotten, but he was swimming in the summer. austin had his 3rd birthday at the gym; a tradition; which was great this year because he could swim. we visited auntie shannon and her farm. she might be their favorite. they might be her favorite but shh it's a big secret. we built a fire pit and began our s'mores outings. we went to KC once or three times. also a new tradition the week before school starts. this year we went to schlitterbaun and the aquarium and a rockin' restaurant called TRex Cafe; where courtney saved me from being eaten by a dinosaur. we came home from KC with a horrible sickness that we are pretty sure we spread through NWA; go us. paul built some pretty awesome houses. we went 4wheeler riding. something austin picked up on this year and became good at; well other than when him and i were racing and he tried to cut the corner and ended up flying like superman. that wasn't fun. but we got him back on, crying and all and he did another lap. we freshened up the boat and made it look pretty one more year. courtney started 2nd grade and austin joined another year of mom's day out. all in all, a good year. all in all, we are happy. all in all, we will do it all over again this year. hopefully with more updates.
